Kettel - Red Pear (Neo Ouija, 2001)

Attention, un disque de Neo Ouija peut en cacher un autre! Après la compilation Cottage Industries, voici un maxi - plus proche d'un mini-album vu sa durée - signé Kettel, projet d'un dénommé Reimer Eising. Une production discographique abondante, avec une personnalité sans doute trop peu marquée pour vraiment sortir du lot, mais une production toujours de qualité, comme en témoigne ce Red Pear aux influences marquées mais assez variées pour maintenir l'intéret.

Note : Kettel is Reimer Eising (born 1982), a self-described “elixir-brewing, camping-loving and musicmaking sorcerer-to-be.” He is well-known for his playful, spontaneous melodies and organic folk sounds similar to Aphex Twin, Jega, and Plaid.
